For years you guys have been asking how we calculate the PCGA handicaps. Our standard response has been "it is a secret" or "it's in the rules you have not read yet". Most of you, :) , accuse of us making it up as we see fit. Well we finally have a media platform to provide the formula and the sacred rules of the PCGA with the click of a tab.

There are more rules and information in the official PCGA rules: dues, payouts, points race, etc. These need to be formatted to fit on the tab, then they will be posted/added as well. However, these rules seem to be the most asked for; so here you go.

The PCGA Staff has written this document as a guideline. There may be times during the season that additions to or removal of items in this document are necessary. The PCGA Staff will meet to discuss and vote on these issues. A majority vote between the PCGA Staff must be met before any changes can be made. Once a majority vote has been reach, the decision will be communicated to the league. All decisions made by the PCGA Staff are final.
