The weather blew threw just before we teed off. Cart path only was the only thing that slowed down Team Arrington on their way to a dominate win. 7.5 to 4.5!

I cannot tell all your stories from the matches nor could I do them justice - so please tell your story from the PCGA Cup by posting a comment to this post.
I will say this (I should post this in the comment section but...) - Denny gets HUGE man style points in my book. First he started today birdie, birdie, birdie. I told him if he was 9 under at the Falls I was pushing him in the lake (as he would need to be cooled off). Then on 5, this is where he gets his man style points. He and I were both lying about 6 (don't ask) but his ball was just in the edge of the water (green side). He suits up in his rain gear, that's right you heard me, goes in with one foot submerged to try to chip the ball out of the water to win the hole. MAN STYLE!! Unfortunately he was not successful, but still I liked his style and never give up competitiveness!!

Again, if the Golf Channel, NBC and ESPN had been taping our event they would have to make it a top 50 shots of the day video.

This is a close PCGA Cup. The Golf Channel, NBC and ESPN missed a great opportunity for some quality top 10 golf shots today...just saying.
Today's 8 single matches are expected to be just as close. We hope the weather holds up for us. Saturday's weather and course conditions were just about perfect.

Trey Atkins and Tom Emmons (Alternate) were the only players to claim a point each day.
Congrats to Keith and Tom on a well a well played and fun match .the best golf shot of the weekend was hit by Keith Roberts when he bomb a 300 + yard drive and drew a 3wood to within 3 ft of the cup on a par 5 !! WOW and the best advise that I can give to Tom Ferrittos next opponent is to NEVER fire up a victory cigar on Saturday because he will smoke your butt on Sunday . Frank Lilley

Trey and Tom E were not the only ones to claim a point each day. There was at least one other: Kipp Bedford.
Mike Brothers and Van McInnis claimed points both days also.
Didn't mike Brothers and Van halve a point on Saturday with their match ending in a tie? Congrats to Kipp.
